1940s/50s Vintage Steampunk Style Tricolor Brooch Pin In Great Condition.

This elegant brooch measures approximately 3 "long.

It features a tri-tone metal design with an Elgin watch dial fragment. The style is inspired by Victorian-era jewelry which commonly utilized hand motifs in a symbolic "language of flowers".

The brooch has an oval copper-tone base with an intricate floral repoussé pattern. A gold-tone hand appliqué holds a silver-tone flower appliqué. A small piece of a white watch dial, possibly from an Elgin watch, is visible beneath the fingers.

Hand motifs were popular in the Victorian era (circa 1837–1901) and were used to convey messages, often symbolizing love or friendship, depending on what the hand was holding.

The use of mixed metals and vintage elements, particularly the watch parts, defines this specific piece as being in the "steampunk" style.

A Great Vintage Brooch Pin For The Collector.
