Beautiful 1990s Saint Martin de Porres Plastic Keychain In Good Condition.
This lovely piece measures approximately 4 1/2" tall including keyring & chain. Figurine alone measures approximately 2" tall.
St. Martin de Porres is a Dominican lay brother from Lima, Peru.
He is shown wearing the black and white habit of the Dominican Order.
At his feet, a dog is visible. He is often depicted alongside a dog, cat, and mouse eating peaceably from the same bowl, highlighting his love for all creatures.
He holds a crucifix close to his chest. While hidden behind the dog in this small mold, a broom typically accompanies his statues to symbolize his humility and dedication to manual labor.
