Stunning 1980s Vintage Gold Tone Art Deco Style Black Enamel With Rhinestones & Black Cabochon Stone 1928 Jewerly Company Brooch In Great Condition.

This beautiful piece measures approximately 2 1/4" tall.

This elegant pin features a central black faceted stone, likely lucite or glass, surrounded by ornate filigree and clear rhinestone accents.

The design is a Victorian or Art Deco revival with a triangular or shield-like shape.

Genuine 1928 jewelry often has a distinct scrollwork or floral pattern on the metal reverse, rather than a stamped name.

The 1928 Jewelry Company, founded in 1968 by Melvyn Bernie in Burbank, California, is one of the largest fashion jewelry manufacturers in the United States. Despite the name, the company's "1928" title was chosen to evoke the Art Deco era. The 1928 Jewelry Company is well-known for creating "heirloom-inspired" pieces that draw from Victorian and Art Deco eras.
