Originally a minor character named "Piggy Lee" on The Tonight Show in 1974, she rose to stardom on The Muppet Show starting in 1976. She is a talented singer and actress, an expert in karate, and is currently performed by Eric Jacobson, having been originally performed by Frank Oz.
