This Vintage 1980's The Ghent Collection Norman Rockwell "April Fool" Collectible Porcelain Plate In Great Condition.

This great decorative plate recreates Norman Rockwell's iconic "April Fool" illustration, which appeared on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post on April 3, 1943, and is famous for containing numerous deliberate visual "mistakes" or incongruities as an April Fool's joke for the readers.

This plate was produced by Gorham China for The Ghent Collection and a limited edition item.

The original "April Fool" painting is celebrated for Rockwell's cleverness and humor in creating a visual puzzle that engaged his audience, inviting them to find all the hidden oddities within the scene.

This vintage plate measures approximately 8 1/2" in diameter.
