Rare & Hard To Find 2003 Misfit Nesting Clown Figure With Windup Mouse In Great Condition.
From the classic holiday special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Produced by Playing Mantis (and later Memory Lane/Round 2) as part of their collectible The Island of Misfit Toys action figure lines.
Clown measures 3" Mouse 1 1/4"
The complete set as this one opens up to act as a Russian matryoshka-style nesting doll.
In this set and the original retail release, this clown opens up to reveal a tiny, gray wind-up mouse toy hidden inside which is included here.
The clown figure itself is hard to find, but having the tiny, separate wind-up mouse inside it makes it an extremely hard set to find.
Because the mouse is so small, most people lost it over the decades. Finding a complete set where the clown still contains the mouse is very uncommonp.
Complete sets with the wind-up mouse fetch a premium from collectors because they are much harder to track down.
